Privacy Policy

A plain-English explanation of the information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you create an account, we collect the information you submit, including your email address, public display name, password through our account provider, and optional profile details. We also store forum posts, replies, and moderation information you choose to publish.

How we use it

We use account information to provide member access, operate the community, respond to requests, send the Starter Kit after email verification, and send optional updates only when you choose to receive them. You can opt out of update emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in an email.

Website measurement

We use Vercel Analytics for page visits on selected public planning and ebook pages. Our own reporting, hosted in our existing Supabase database, counts ebook download clicks and completed planning steps. A download click does not confirm that a file finished downloading. These events contain only the public ebook country or tool name, an event time, and a random event identifier used to prevent duplicate submissions. The event identifier does not identify a visitor. We remove query strings and fragments from analytics page URLs and do not include your planning answers, budgets, trip names, account identifiers, or saved trip contents in these events. This measurement does not add analytics cookies or persistent browser identifiers. Analytics may be unavailable when blocked by your browser.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate the site, including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for accounts and community data, Brevo for email delivery, Stripe for existing-subscription billing management, and Cloudflare Turnstile for sign-up abuse prevention. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

Existing subscription payments

All current planning tools are free. For accounts with an existing paid subscription, Stripe continues to process contact, billing, and payment details, and we retain the related records for billing management and support. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not publish your email address. Your public display name, profile details, forum posts, and replies may be visible to other visitors when you choose to share them.

Your choices

You may ask us to update or delete your account and personal information, subject to records we reasonably need to keep for security, legal, or moderation purposes. You can also change your profile settings and email preferences from your account where available.
