The standards that keep the Nomad Mac Travels community helpful, respectful, and safe.

Keep it useful and respectful

This community is for practical conversations about exploratory travel, slow travel, future expat life, and retirement planning. Treat other members with respect, including people from the countries being discussed.

Share experience, not certainty

Personal experience is welcome. Present it as your experience, include dates and location details when useful, and avoid presenting unverified information as fact. Do not give legal, immigration, tax, financial, or medical advice as though you are a professional.

Do not post

• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or personal attacks.
• Private information about yourself or anyone else.
• Spam, repeated self-promotion, undisclosed affiliate links, or solicitations.
• Illegal activity, scams, deceptive information, or copied material you do not have the right to share.

Moderation

Posts may be reviewed before publication. We may edit for clarity, move discussions, remove content, or suspend accounts when necessary to protect the community. Moderation decisions are made to keep the forum constructive, not to guarantee the accuracy of any post.

Report a concern

Use the forum reporting option when available, or email nomadmactravels@gmail.com with a link and a short explanation. Do not use public threads to share personal disputes or private information.
