# Route Builder City Pricing - Final Coverage Audit

## What "complete" means

All 70 Route Builder locations have now been reviewed and assigned a research status. This is not permission to publish a number for every city.

- **Beta candidate (44):** enough current evidence for a cautious, transparent single-adult exploratory-stay range. Each figure still needs to show source date, private-room assumptions, inclusions, and a seasonal/area warning where relevant.
- **One source away (15):** promising current material exists, but one additional independent, city-specific short-stay source is required before publishing a cost range.
- **Research in progress (11):** no defensible city-specific short-stay private-room range was found. These must show `Research in progress` rather than an invented number.

Default scope: one adult; private lodging; local food plus some normal restaurants; practical local transportation; modest normal activities; no international flights, visa fees, health insurance, nightlife, shopping, or long-term discounted leases.

## Before any website update

1. Build the first pricing release only from the 44 beta candidates.
2. Use ranges, not a single "exact" daily number.
3. Put `Research in progress` in the planner for the 11 unsupported locations.
4. Label the 15 one-source-away locations as `verification in progress`; do not estimate from a nearby city.
5. Display the last reviewed date and source links on every cost-detail panel.
6. Recheck all published figures at least quarterly and before any major public launch.
